Does anyone know of a good skeet shooting place in the Upstate? Going to be part of the weekend plans in July, which is why I'll miss Gulches.

Thanks for starting this for me, Marshall!

The DNR shooting range in liberty has a place to throw your own skeet.....I'm not sure of any actual skeet venues though

Harris Springs in Waterloo is a nice range. It's about 45min. from Anderson.

That's one I was looking at. Maybe I can convince my friends to swing by Gulches on the way home. Literally, we'd drive RIGHT BY. :hhmm: Bet we could hear you if we were quiet...

If not, I was hoping to find one near Clemson, so we could visit Mac's and TigerTown. May just have to drive a lot.

The public range in Pickens is nice. Just give the Game Warden your driver's lisence and you can use their thrower which is really nice. I think they may also have the little plastic hand throwers too, but you may want to take one just in case they're all being used. Clemson kids go out there a lot. Good luck!

Sounds good, only other restriction, is the place has gotta have gun rentals, which is why I'm leaning towards Harris Springs. Only 1 person has a gun, I think.
