Size of tubing recommended for the bull bar

Greetings,

Currently designing bull bars for my troopy. Wondering if anyone has any advice of the size of tubing required? Bars will stretch across the front, go along the 1/4 panels, then goes down to form foot rests on both sides.

I have ordered some 1.5" inside diam with 1/4" wall. It looks a bit heavy for me, as I have it cut in sizes. What's the sizes normally being used for these kind of built?

Normally they would be at least 50mm OD, maybe 60mm

These are 40mm outside diameter, and 4mm thickness.
I also have some 60 mm, 4 mm thickness.
Was a bit surprised at how much they weight when I am handling them, but I guess that's normal.
