Last night when I removed the key from the ignition after a long drive I heard a loud piercing siren from my '02 LC. It stopped when I unbuckled the seatbelt. This morning, after my daily commute when I turned off the ignition the siren began again, but did not turn off when I unbuckled. I left the car with the siren still on. It is not audible from the outside of the vehicle, only from the inside. It is a loud annoying high pitched noise. Anyone have any idea why it is happening and what could be done to fix it?
