thought I would post this great documentary on steel industry and how steel is made. Its in color and pretty impressive.

Those were the days for Britain. Don't imagine they make much steel any more. Like the US for that matter.
Scary to watch those guys spend their days a few feet from molten steel. The odds of making it unscathed during a long career in a mill must not have been too good.
The bit about the tree branches was a neat anachronism.
