Had two new codes throw several times today…a P0125 (insufficient coolant temperature for Closed Loop Fuel Control) and P0135 (o2 heater circuit bank sensor 1). I replaced both the up and down stream O2 sensors in July with Denso units, and that cleared those codes. I did a blue fan clutch and water pump replacement at the same time, but didn’t touch the thermostat (previous owner indicated he replaced it last September when he did the PHH and other hose replacement).

I did wash the underside of my cruiser on Sunday evening and sprayed the underside with a power washer. As soon as the cats cool, I’ll slide under and see if the connectors for the o2 sensors are wet.

So, where do I start. I ordered an OEM Water Temp Sensor (89422-35010) from Amazon because it will be here tomorrow for $34….figured why not have one on hand.

Is the prevailing thought this is a sensor replacement. Past MUD searches are a rabbit hole that include an all new wire harness! Basic Google says replace sensor….

And no, I don’t know how to use a multimeter to test resistance, etc.
