Hi Berger...Me too! Only thing I want to know is if they have a DOT stamping on them, or what the requirements are to keep legal. Maybe Skidmark on BC4x4 knows. I like the sizes, and in one review I read in an Ozzy mag a while back pitting one of these tires against some other heavy hitters, the Simex came out as the best all round tire. There are others that do one thing or another better though.

Saw a Unimog up in Shuswap with the Jungle trekkers on. Didn't see a DOT
but the guy said the former owner just bought them before he sold it to him.

Would an inspector look at that during a VI ?

Some might, as it is a none common pattern. Also, if you are involved in a MVA, the investigating Officer might have that as part of his normal scan.
