...the truck will dip and then rise back up - very weird feeling. It kind of did this pre-tank install but it's more severe now. However just today I swear while driving 55mph plus I felt it do the same - kind scared the crap out me. It did it twice, I think, over a 30 minute period.
Other than not raising or lower (which it still does without problem) could these be signs of it going?
This is a typical sign of a bad height sensor.
Sensors are easy to remove and check visually. Normally you will see the problem by opening the lid. They can also easily be tested electrically, should you be so inclined.
Do a search. There are a few threads on the issue.

With the symptoms you have, I am 95 % certain you have a faulty sensor.

What spring and shocks combo would be the closest-to-stock ride if the suspension is changed from ahc to standard? The stock non-ahc suspension for the 100 is still a bit bumpy for me.

Many members here seem feel the standard suspension is on the soft side. I don't think you'll be able to find anything much softer than stock for torsion bars or springs. Maybe just go with standard LC tbars and springs and a good set of shocks such as bilsteins. What tires are on your 100? Tires can affect ride quality as well.

Thanks for the reply. Got your tips in the other thread.
