Signal Peak is near the Truckee area in northern California, 11 miles long. I want to do some trailing in June/July. Anyone interested?

I'm interested. I tried it last year, but accidentally went the hard way from the Fordyce trail head. I made it pretty far but decided to turn around since I was solo. I would like to try the easy way next time. Keep me posted when you firm up some dates.

Wonderful!!! I will figure out the date and time ASAP. Most likely a Sunday.

Ok guys, what about the next Sunday or the Sunday after? (May 26th or June 2nd).

Sorry, I'm busy the next two weekends so I couldn't make it. Have fun, maybe I can catch you next time.

Hey dude let us know which week are you free and maybe we can figure something out.

Thanks for the offer, but my schedule this summer is going to be pretty hectic. Y'all better pick a date that works for you and I'll come if I'm free. Actually, I will be up there the weekend of July 26th and could hit it up then.

Ok man. I can just go with hairy_apple this time and in July we can meet up again if you want. It's the closest trail to where I live, so I'll go there often.

Have fun, guys. Take some pics and post em up!

I'm open to go also. I live in Winters. We should meet up for a run up past Barryessa some time. I just moved here from Tahoe, but never ran up that peak you're talking about. I am however looking for suckers to go wheeling with. you can see my stats on my rig. I'd bet our rigs would be compatible for the challenges. Know anything local? Vaca Mountains? Knoxville?

I'm busy this weekend and next, but after that? Also looking at going up to The Gold Lakes Basin and mountain biking Mills Peak and wheeling-campling.

cheers,

Stew

Nice! I haven' heard back from the other guy so I don't know if he's coming or not. But I still want to go. How about Sunday June 16th or 23rd? My friend used to do trailing with me with his Wrangler but he sold it recently. So I don't really know any local except a couple of guys I met on MUD with FJ80 and FJ60 that also live in Davis. I just haven't done any trailing with them. I also went to Knoxville last fall by myself but there was no one there, so I didn't go really far. Would love to go back. I also went to Priarie City OHV and did some obstacle course. I'm just a newbie, you can teach me some wheeling techniques.

First thing newbies need to learn is that newbies buy the beer! :-)

I've been wanting to check out Knoxville for a long time too since that would be the off roading closest to me.

Hi-jack off

Tell you what, give me a call or better yet come on out to Winters in the afternoon with your rig, we'll chat, compare notes and figure something out. Since my impending trip to Brazil was just rescheduled, I can't make plans until it is settled. Work comes first right now. I know for sure I'm out on the 23, but the 16th may happen. I may just go up to Tahoe with the family for the weekend and then be able to run that trail on Sunday.
May as well swing by some time soon to meet up and go from there. I'll buy that beer. Also, if you want to tag along tomorrow to the Rubicon Tuesdays meet up in Sac, you can ride shotgun in my rig... ha! I just installed an auto locker, so I need a copilot to tell me the banging and ratcheting in the rear is normal.. ha! I've been wanting to meet some other mudders in the area and these guys have been meeting for some time. Bunch of mostly wagon-heads it sounds like.
