Wow what a kerfuffle.... YESTERDAY I bought a 1987 BJ74 which I thought was pretty good. It has almost nothing at all for rust, 92,000 ORIGINAL kilometeres, cable lockers, pto winch, etc. I brought it home only to have the little woman freak out and go over the top that that's not the one she was expecting. We've been looking at HDJ81s, and I suppose we got our lines crossed somehow even though I'm positive I got the go ahead on the 74 series. Anyways it's in good shape but isn't quite perfect. It has a small pong in the drivers door, and the clutch bearing chatters just a little (it's quite liveable) It has 5 BRAND NEW Bridgestone Duellers and 5 new black spoke rims. I have also the original owners manuals ( In Jaqpanese) and over $7000 in receipts that were put in the last year. I also bought a one year Lubrico warranty that goes with the truck. I just want to get my money back so I can continue the hunt for an 80 series I suppose.
$13,800

Cable lockers, tell the little women that you are keeping it, or wait till I get 13,800 in my pocket so I can get it for my little women. I like the fact that it doesnt have power windows, I am sorry you have to sell it because it is pretty hard to find another specimen like that. Bump for you good luck with the sale. My woman needs your 74 so she can keep up to mine.

Sorry but that's a bunch of hooey! The decals were in horrible shape and all peeling and chipping off, they have nothing to do with the value.

No mods, just 24-12 volt converters etc. Really is a super nice truck...c'mon people;)

Still for grabs...not a single call yet, suprising for a good deal.:hhmm:

New price $12,800...look around won't find a cheaper cable locked 70 series!

;)Yeah but there might be someone out there sadistic enough to butcher the truck to build a sweet ass 40 series

Just wondering if you have sold the bj yet, if not could you post some underside shots. thanks
