Well I've had a small accident and I need to replace the right rear side molding on my '99. I was under the impression that these came painted and ready to install but my shop said that they no longer come that way and that they'll have to paint them. Has anyone purchased one of these moldings and have had to have it painted? Are they selling my knock off parts? The truck is River Rock Green Mica.

I bought a full set for my 1999 Silver LC in 2013, and the set came pre-painted from Toyota.. I believe your best bet for the answer is to call Cruiser Dan or Beno, depending on where you are in the country. Cruiserdan is Dan Bussey at American Toyota in ABQ, NM.

Come pre-painted. I just bought one for my '00, and chose the cheapest one, since they're bedlined anyway. Camelback Toyota will treat you right, they'll even ship to you. Mine came with 2 of the 4 clips attached to it, but it's wise to pick up some extras. It takes 4 of one, and 2 of the other. I just ordered 4 of each. Total with tax was under $95.

Yeah figuring that out quickly. It's the dealership too...

I'm guessing the "medium gray" in the diagram above is River Rock. Does anyone know?

Yeah I just checked the color code on the truck and referenced that to information on Cruiser Parts and medium grey is the correct color. Also for kicks I checked the estimate the dealer gave me and it lists the part in the wrong color. Someone's about to get an ear full...
