Side mirror on the fender.

Keep in mind that those are for Right hand drive LCs and fit on the opposite side of the driver. Installing that mirror on a LHD LC would be pointless since it would be on the same side as the driver. For it to be useful, make sure you find one that can be installed on the right side. :)

That's the one for the RHD vehicle (in non-finished black).

I don't think they were available for the LHD vehicles, but I could be wrong.

I think John Y. (97 FZJ?) had one that worked on the 80 on LHD. I think with a little creativity anything is possible though. ;)

Do they make both sides? What do they cost?:D

AFAIK, they only made for the RHD vehicles; mirror on the left side of the vehicle. It helps you see both front of the bumper and the far side of the vehicle in tight parking situations, which should not be necessary in the U.S., really.

But I know needing and wanting are two different things for some of us.;p

Mot ;)

Why would you want one when it's not required? It just disturbs the otherwise clean lines of the 100. People in Japan pay to have them removed. They sell these cap plates to plug up the two holes in the body panel.

LOL

Very True!

but

I always thought it would be cool to have, even if it didn't work. I love it when people stare at you on the road and are like " Whats that."

Ah, now we really know why you got the safari snorkel! If you really want stares, how about driving around LA in that Lexus/LC rock buggy that someone posted a while back!

I had a back up mirror installed at the top of the hatch of my Isuzu Rodeo, it was very useful. I would believe the same as the mirror on the fender.:D

I can get the OEM back up mirror, but you would have to screw a couple (or three) screws and some of you would never do that to your rigs. ;)

That to!

Safari Snorkel was like killing 2 birds with one stone!

You get the Performance + the Looks/stares.

The fender mirror thing, strictly looks!

LOL

I bet that black Lx470 buggy nearly causes accidents from stares, and I bet it gets tons of stares on So. CA freeways.

It looks like a "War of the Worlds" alien's eye.

I brought back a few aftermarket backup mirrors and the passenger-side blind spot mirrors that mounts to the fender. Here are the pictures:
