I'll work on getting a hall pass, too... :)

1 week and counting :bounce:

Picking up the moving truck on Thursday and start loading soon afterward. Should be leaving the Twin Cities at around 6 am (or later depending on how late the :princess: is ). Hope to hit town at 9 or 10 pm.

My wifes sister offered to drive out with my wife. This takes a huge load off as I wasn't sure that she could make the drive on her own. One less thing to worry about. Paid $100 for a one way plane ticket to get her home.

My brother just got a job at an airline and I found out that I get 8 round trip tickets a year. Should make our too often planned trips back home easier.

Now all I gotta do is finish packing :censor:

sorry mark,
i'm not going to be able to make it :frown:
i've got to much work to get done and no time to do it.

when you're all settled we need to plan a ride before the snow starts falling.

No worries dude. You got a family to feed after all.

We'll talk about some wheeling. I got a little work to do on the wagon 1st. Motor mount, PS pump should get me going, but I know I'm gonna need to do some carb work after I move out there.

3 days...

I'll be unplugging and packing the computer tonight, so no more internet till next week.

If anyone needs to get ahold of me don't hesitate to call me at 612-269-6327. :grinpimp:

Move-in day is still the 10th?

If so, I've got a hall pass! :)

My pleasure, Mark...

The good news: it only took a few hours to unload the truck. :)

The bad news: now you get to spend the next 3 years unpacking boxes!!!

Spent the day working on the wagon. Got out the soap and wheel polish and spend damn near all day cleaning it up. Yea it's still rusty and dented but it looks a whole lot better than it did.

Then I took her for a drive (haven't driven it since I moved here) and she was not happy at all. Wouldn't idle, had no power. Quite embarassing driving down the street restarting it at every stop :o

Brought her back and started to scratch my head. I'm kinda a fool when it comes to carbs. Just haven't really ever had the need to fool with it. Started with the mixture and didn't get anywhere. Problem was that everything in the FSM assumed you had a running truck. The only was I would get mine to idle was with the choke all the way out. And even then it was loping and just barely hanging on. After banging my head against the wall for what felt like hours it started to idle...and nicely. I don't remember what I did but I did something right

It runs and idles quite nice now. I know I need to do some more tinkering cause I can tell there is some power that is missing. But at least I have it running so I can start again with the manual and get something done.
