Between Covid and other 'issues' I didn't get a chance to take my younger son back to oz for a visit into the bush until a couple of weeks ago. Very short trip and only a few nights out camping. We did manage to enjoy some of the open spaces and tracks a few hundred miles north EAST of Perth.
Some pics of our little bush trip. Was excellent weather since it's just heading into winter there. Lots of rain a few days after we left
First night camped, fire going and younger son sleeping after dinner
Stopped in a random spot.
Clearer track and exploring some areas I hadn't been to before.
Hmm - first time driving right hand drive manual transmission diesel. A new experience
We have pretty good ginger beer in oz and the fridge keeps it 'just right'. Exploring some claypans and rocks with neat erosion patterns.
Few more pics in the next post.
cheers,
george.
