I would visit the shop in person, look at your truck, and ask them how many hours they have billed (specifically) to the job (vs. how long they have had the truck). Don't do this over the phone - go visit.

I did initially when the shop set the date for me to drop it off. They were visited twice before I gave them my rig. Initially they told me they needed a couple of days. And a couple means 2 to me.
