Hi Guys, I'm still working on getting my 91 FJ80 to be a reliable rig after its been sitting on a ranch for 8-10 years. Its got 270K miles on it and I'm pretty sure that it has the OE shocks/springs on it. I'm trying to keep the budget as reasonable as possible, and wanted to see if anyone knew of an inexpensive replacement for all 4 corners? Anyone have some used (but not used-up) ones for sale or advice on how I can get ahold of some?

Thanks

also....

Also, does anyone know if newer, 2005+ Tacoma Shocks are compatible?

You can watch the classified section on MUD for someone selling a used set of springs/shocks.

Think there might be a pretty cheap replacement from the part stores as well. You'll have to look that up with Advance or Auto Zone.

I have used Gabriel shocks before. I had no issues. But it might be worth saving your money a little longer for OME

IF shocks from my 08 tundra are compatible, you are welcome to them. I pulled them at 50K to install bilsteins.

Thanks for the offer on the Tundra Struts, but doesn't look like they're compatible. I went ahead and broke down and bought some mid-level front shocks as they were in desperate need of replacement, but still looking for some rears.

James, thanks for the offer, but I'm really looking for something with fewer miles. I do appreciate the offer though.
