Shock part numbers? What are you using?

My BJ74 came with worn out springs and Rancho RS9000 shocks. A bit of information about my Land Cruiser: It's my daily and sees a lot of pavement, it's on 35" BFGs, I seldom take it wheeling.

I've recently put a mild lift in (add-a-leaf) and these shocks are now 1.5" shorter at full extension than my lower mounts at ride height. Seems like the previous owner put in shocks that matched the worn out springs, rather than fix the real issue. The rancho's only had 5" of travel.

I've recently done a decent amount of digging on here and at various manufacturers websites. I've noticed that people seem to post the brand name of the shock they're using but not the part number.

Those of you running a few inches of lift, what shocks are you using and what is their part number?

Any specs are appreciated. Length at full compression/extension. Also mounting as my BJ74 uses eyelets for a bottom mount and a vertical stud for the top. (stock mounting bracket on top/bolt for the bottom).

If you are running Rancho's they have a catalog online with different open and closed lengths and also eye ends.

Been there, can't find ones that are the style I need but longer than the ones I have. Parts guy at Lordco wasn't able to either. I've found the length I need on Procomp's webpage but they don't say how it mounts, they just have a picture of the same shock for all their part numbers. Like I said, I'd like to know what other people have has success with and what the absorbers specs are.

If you are so inclined check out the ARB/OME, they have shocks specifically designed for the 70/71/74 landcruisers.

60009 for the fronts and 60062/N85 for the Sport/Norm rears.

And some great pricing from the Mud Vendors:grinpimp:

No substantitive lift here, but using cheap Bilsteins:
Front = Bilstein B46-1004
Rear = Bilstein B46-1132

Thanks guys, those OMEs are a little short I think, only would give me 2.2" of droop(more when the springs break in). I'll see if I can find Bilsteins in that style with a little more length. Should mention that I'm specifically looking for front shocks I guess :)
