I got my first quote back. WOW!!

here is the breakdown: 7-8 trucks $9000.00 each way
That equals $18,000 round trip divided by 8 trucks = $2250 per vehicle round trip plus airplane tickets ect.

Just to put this in perspective When gas was averaging $2.20 per gallon I spent about $2000.00 to drive out there towing with my Big Block GMC, stayed in a hotel for 6 nights, wheeled four days, went to Arches National Park for 1/2 day, rode horses for 4 hrs one day and ate and drank everynight. This was for 2 people.

Do the math, for these prices I would rather drive out there again.

I am open to suggestions but I would like to start thinking of a date for next year. Cruise Moab?? Memorial day?? this works because no one is out there and you get one extra day off.

 Let us know if you get any favorable quotes, but this doesn't look like a do-able option.

I will run this by my Frieght company I have to and get huge discounts for the volume we ship out.

dont know but it is worth a shot

I can talk to the guy i work for who owns the logging business and see if we can combine a couple of the rigs to make a long distance worthy truck if you guys want, i mean its a road tractor, we can bring plenty of spare parts haha.

Did you buy a new trailer ?? Tell me more

John,

I would be more than happy to put a hitch in my truck and pull mine and yours out on your tailer for a reasonable fee. I know I would not spend more than $1400-$1500 in fuel round trip towing both , really maybe not even that much.

Think about it for $4500 we could buy another trailer, tow four trucks out there and sell it when we get home for about what we bought the trailer for. How sweet would that be seeing 4-8 built trucks heading to Moab!
