It was good. Weather was a bit iffy on a couple of days but we made the best of it.

Couple of smashed tail pipes and a power steering o-ring were the only “trail” damage we had.
 
We made it home yesterday afternoon. We covered pretty close to 6000 miles, used about 500 gallons of gas, and covered 17 states.
I had some weird voltage variances in Arkansas and panic bought a Chinese alternator from AutoZone but it ended up being a loose terminal. Also my rear passenger window jumped the track in the middle of a parrie in the Nebraska grasslands. Other than that I had zero issues with the truck. I think this trip would have been miserable without the new gears.

This trip was nothing short of epic and we had an amazing time. Thank you to Rob and Alan and rest of the club for all the hard work and effort it took to pull this off.
