Shims below 2500? (1 Viewer)

Valves on one of our trucks are way tight with the thinest shim in the kit, a 2.500. Intake #4R still has no clearance, with a few others at .10 or less. I'm not really seeing thinner shins available, at least not from reputable vendors.

No codes, but compression was low and leakdown came out the TB. No HG symptoms.

What's this indicative of? Time for new valves?

Time for a new head. or valve seat replacement.

A machine shop can grind the tip of the valve to get to the proper clearance but if it all of a sudden became tight there might be something else going on.
