Products used on this build to my understanding were designed to be more “flexible” than other paints...Herein is a list of those products used:

Sherwin-williams- PE995 Corrosion Shield LCF etching primer, P30 SpectraPrime 2k Primer (Ureflex Technology) Ultra 7000 Solvent basecoat used with RHF Hardners paired with CC200 Dynamic Clearcoat
(Ureflex Technology). Filler used Was Evercoat Rage Ultra filler Evercoat Finish Glaze and Evercoat 440express pinhole filler. Upol Rapter liner with Ceramic bead additives. Lord fusor seamsealer as well as Dominion Seamsealer.

Even though the fenders are 4 inches wider than OEM it is virtually unnoticeable. It looks proportionally balanced....

Thanks so much, you would ask that question ! Sadly I couldn’t even tell ya ! They’re not even mine ! Not only that, I’m pulling my hair out trying to even remotely come close to replicating them !

Believe it or not....a friend of my nephew Tyrel, let us borrow them.
His truck recently caught fire 🔥 on the side of the highway and burned to the ground ! The (chrome) wheels survived but the bead locks had to be powder coated again. (Corvette Torche Red) But even if I knew what make and model the rims are.... I was told they are a ”test rim” and evidently there are no others on the market. That’s why I am tearing my hair out trying to find something even close to that same look.😍 Chrome spokes are evidently to “old school” anymore !

If I could find a 17 inch 6 X 5.5 Chrome spoke bead lock rim, say 9-10 inch wide, (for a 2006 Silverado) I could powdercoat the bead locks red. So far I haven’t found any...darn things REALLY make the L👀K that I want ! The owner said he’d consider selling the tires and wheels together, but far more than I’m willing to pay....

Hope nobody gets to bent out of shape on this, but SHAPE was primarily the reason that we made the decision to install ‘em.

Angled flares are easier on the eyes
👀 than the round ones, just as you pointed out. Makes it a bit more appealing. They’re for an older Jeep, Jeg’s sells them for $198 a pair, they are 7 inches wide. Aquala makes metal ones but they are a bit more pricier.

Round fenders sorta clash with the angled front ones...(IMO)

Do like the shape as I said before, they go well however I didntrealize there were 7” just didn’t really think about it. I assume they are fiberglass, however the price is right. TNX FOR THE RESPONSE.

If I am not mistaken, they have other flares that are not as wide also. Just so you know...they are NOT fiberglass but rather a more ridged form of rubber composite.

They (Jeg’s) also will sell them “singular” in case a guy needs a replacement for whatever reason. I agree...the price is right ! They come in black when ordering. I also liked their design in hiding the mounting bolts the way they did.

These are the closest rims that I have found so far, that have both the chrome element, with the red bead lock look 👀

Obviously they don’t give ‘em away either !

47coeman ... I recall talkin’ last January to you about fender flares. I dug up that thread entitled “FENDER FLARES...!” I finally found a picture of that rig where a fella made his own flares by molding muffler pipe...I posted that picture up to that thread you might want to check it out. If I could do it all over again, I’d try a stab at doing that to mine ! It’s a mean L👀King
HOMBRE !!

Interested in seeing in your rig the way the fasteners are done, a pic would be a plus. TNX

Not really a whole lot of complications installing the flares.
Basically, center ‘em trace the holes, and......💥
BOOM 💥 !

The holes end up inside the wheel wells. Some high end hardware (non-corrosive) probably a good idea....
