I am thinking about getting sheepskin seat covers for my 62. What do you guys think, waste of money or good investment? If I do does anyone know of a good brand, or deal? If you are against them any suggestions for something else/better for seat covers?

Thanks

I have grey sheepskin (real) covers in my 60. Don't waste your money on the fake sheepskins, they fall apart quickly. Buy the real deal, they are kind of pricey, but worth it.

Of course, I got mine on clearance at Target for $12 ea (reg $50+ ea), and they are on Honda Pilot seats which got swapped in to replace tired Stockers.

I dont like them, but to each his own. I liek the Wet Okole stated above they are very nice!!! Is this a DD trail rig or both? I would certainly stay away from the sheep skin if its used offroad. Just for the sake of mud and dirt.

do not get fake ones; because that @&@&@&@& will end up all over your clothes

Do sheepskin seat covers make the seats more comfortable? I'm confused as to why one would want a set. Sorry for the dumb question.

The 62 is my DD, the front seats have a few small holes in them and I would like to cover them up with something. My brothers 62 has sheepskin covers and they do make the seats more comfortable, mostly however they do look nice. I just want something that will make the seats look better, if it increases comfort I won't complain

I've had them in many rigs. Don't go cheap for all the reasons above. Mine cost $100 bucks for 2 at GI JOES.

They are warm in the winter cool in the summer. wear great and I think they look good.

I've also had the "pit bull tested" Duck covers that SOR sells, I really like them too.
Fit tight and easy to clean.

Oh yeah, If you get the sheep skin, get them for "low back" seats. Then you punch two little holes for the headrest post, don't get the "High Back" covers, they cover your headrest and will, imop, look stoopid.

Love them!! Most of our vehicles sport them now. Comfy, warm, and I add a layer of eggshell foam on the seat underneath for a little extra comfort. We use the Australian brand from the Sam's Club. They sometimes have cheaper ones as well, but they are worthless. So far (2 years) these have been great and look new. I get high-back covers and put them on over the head rest. Once everything is tightened up, I pull the head rest up and it tightens the back. The end result is great and the seat just looks like a solid-back high bucket.
