Shaking drivetrain at 45-55 mph

This may sound silly but if you have a buddy with a cruiser that runs fine with no vibrations at 45 - 55 mph......... swap tires with him and see what happens. i had a tire balance issue once where I got them balanced but they still shook at 45 - 55. It was the type of tire not the balancing. check it out.

I don't have any friends with a cruiser but I do have extra wheels and tires from a toyota pickup. Maybe I can try them but they were from a truck that sat for three years.

Do you think I should just rotate them and see what happens? I wish I could afford new tires right now but the funds just arent there. Thanks
