shackles over rotating why? (1 Viewer)

Can any body tell me why the front axle shackle is over rotating and getting stuck on the frame of my trailer and causing the front wheels to be stuck in the air.

shackles at the forward end ?
I always thought they should be at the trailing ends of a L spring

how about some pics of yours so we can see something ?

I just fixed it for now but it over rotates at the center pivot point between the the two springs. The shackle to the front spring is the one over rotating and catching on the frame

Is this a double axle trailer? We need more info and pics.

Ill get some pics later but yes its a double axle trailer and its the front tires that keep getting stuck in the air. Ill take a pic of the part that's getting stuck to the frame and post it after work

Running empty I assume? Hitting sharp bumps?

I have seen this a couple of times on trailer that have nothing wrong with them. Well. nothing major, just a bit of short cut in the design. Slow down over pothole and major pavement breaks when towing an empty trailer and you should not see this happen.

Yea this happens only when it is empty. Once when my buddy backed it up a big hill and once when he brought it down my rough road. Thx. Ivr had the trailer bout 10 yrs and this is the first time its happened since I've owned it. I got some pics as soon as I figure out how to attach them I will
