i posted this in 60 series but no one has checked it out
ruff stuff spring hangers
ok here goes, i got my spring hangers from ruff stuff for my shackle reversal, and im trying to make some decisions about some ideas i have.
everyone has been telling me not to do it because i will screw up the caster but i want to do this so if you have experience or positive insite, all is appreciated.
i have been toying with the idea of mounting my spring hangers to a 2x4x1/4" steel to make a perch, alot like the all pro off road sas perch for toyota trucks, im thinking of doing this plus using the proper axle shims to correct caster and make a very colid spring hanger.
anyone who has used ruff stuff spring and shackle hangers on a 60 s/r, give me your ideas and input.
just to clarify, after much debate on my suspension plans, ive desided to go with...
front -s/r and longer shackle
rear - add a leaf (only because I carry a constant load of about 400lbs.) and longer shackles...
down the road when i have a different work truck, soa
