so my family and i have been in mt. pleasant/charleston for almost two weeks. Lancruisers everywhere! Lx450/470's to boot as well. So far i have been watching an fj80 at a shop off of coleman blvd getting front end work i believe. Also a tan 60 at another shop just sitting there. I have also seen the red fj40 for sale at coastal car sales of charleston, drool!! Will be here for another week or so with my son in the hospital at musc but it is fun to see some of the locations you guys talk about alot on your site.

and none of those Cruisers have probably never seen a dirt road.

if you and wife are interested I am having cookout at my house Saturday evening.....since you guys are in town and child is in hospital you are welcome to come out and attend...no need to bring anything as there will be enough.

also, LexTech is out towards Folly Beach on right side on Folly Road.....the shop we talk about the most.

sorry i missed this or might would have come out. We stayed in mt. pleasant in a home owned by a charity by the name of caringbridge.org... Only downside was no internet at the house. We came home tuesday of this week and i have already returned to work. My son Aaron came through the surgery great and all is well. Thank you for the invite though.

Yeah i have seen lextech before as well!Drool!! I did eat at Andolinis a couple of times. Very good pizza and great atmosphere.

Just stopped by College station TX, checked out their stadium and took a few pictures very nice campus reminds me of Clemson but a little bigger. The town is built around the college. Always fun to stop new places and see things you always wanted to. Hope everyone is enjoying their holidays!

That is where I am from and it used to be like Clemson. Wild place better bars and women than Clemson

Well another wonderful day in home ownership had to go out and purchase a new fridge.... Which is no big deal because we wanted a nicer fridge anyways but not as soon as we needed to get it. Anyways bought a Samsung RSG257 (stainless) from lowes. regular price on them is like 2299 and we picked it up for 1149.00 had a small dent on the side. I have yet to really right it but now it will be hidden by the wall and cabinet. Steal of a deal. Purchased at the mount P location

paddle to camp on Thursday morning at 8am....stretch called Rifle Cut. Was a bit over 6.5 miles upstream to camp...5-10mph headwind to keep it fun. LOL

When I landed at high tide the beach was all water except for about a foot.........had to wear waders to unload. This picture was an hour BEFORE low tide.!!!

My bow and two quivers of arrows....in between hunts

old cypress was chest high almost and hollowed out the entire length.

big tree was 24 feet around...see my arrows and bow against for comparison...my bow is 64 inches tall.

lots of tales including 200lb sow shot by two of us in grass 8 feet tall where you can only see 5 feet at a time and only shoot 1 out of 100 times. heavy blood but she went to edge of island and fell in river and sank. winds were blowing 50mph yesterday with sleet down in south Georgia and we had a boat so cruised coast to look if it was blown up to bank if it ever floated to top but never did. If it was not so cold I would say a gator got it but we had heavy blood to an initial bedding spot...then again to water edge and looks like it laid there on edge hiding for a long time. Then must of died and slid into water as blood was on bank and down edge like someone painted it with a brush.

6.5 mile paddle up river to campsite....temps in 40-50s during day and 18-32 at night....big storm yesterday with 50mph winds, sleet, rain and gale warnings.....great hunt...cant wait to do it again. More hogs and sign than I have ever seen in my life... So hog was killed but not recovered.....would do it all over again. Kept the bloody arrow she broke off laying down in her bed....rain washed most of blood off but good memento.

There are a few nice trails up by ashely phos. on palmetto commerce parkway. Went on one b4 the rain. Cant wait to see it now!

Freaking rain. My back yard is a pond and my Cruiser got a butt load of water in it. Glenn and I have been trying to track down a leak at the passenger floor board area and this morning I got into my car and there was a ton of water down there. Drove it to his shop immediately and he found that the sunroof drain plug was clogged, which he said he thought he cleaned out last week. It was a pod of some sort from a tree. So, I will be taking out the entire interior of my car to allow carpet and insulation to dry after I shampoo and pressure wash the carpet. I may replace the insulation too and also cover the entire inside with sound deadening material while I am at it.
