Hey all i just wanted to invite you to go out on an overnight trip this weekend to Seven Troughs, NV. It is an area with a bunch of mine sites that i am going out with some friends for an over night camping trip. Sites that we will be visiting include Mazuma, Seven Troughs, and Vernon. Here are some links to the sites just for a brief history. It takes about 3 hours each way to get out there, taking HW80 east to Lovelock, then taking NV399 out to Seven Troughs road. I actually did some closures with the Nevada Division of Minerals this past summer at Seven Troughs so i am familiar with the area. All of the roads are super easy to drive, basically 2 lane dirt road with a 45mph speed limit so anyone can get out there. There may be wheeling in a couple of the canyons out there, but no promises but i am hoping to explore a little and wheel a little as well as explore some of the old workings.

Thanks for the invite Brett. My two yards are screaming for attention so I can't make it this weekend. That area is beautiful in the NV kind of way. Spent many days hunting for Chuker out there. The mine site still has a mess of junk and stuff to explore and investigate. My Crusier is still waiting for parts on my cooling system rebuild. Should have that done by Sunday. Got sent the wrong size fan belt and no one has it in stock in town.
