Settings - locking with key fob

Weird Q, I'm sure.

When I lock my 03 UZJ100 using the key fob, there is no sound. Many Toyotas have a beep beep sound when door locking with fob.

I wondered about it some, and then I remembered that there is a setting for turning off auto tilt on the steering column, so I thought, maybe the beep beep is a setting that on my rig is turned off.

Can you shed any light on this for me? Does your 2003 Hundy go beep beep when you lock with the fob?

I searched and came up empty.

My 03 doesn't beep either. No settings in techstream seem to turn any beep on either. At least none I've found.

Apparently from what I've read, you have to purchase the beeper from off an LX and install it in the drivers' side fender area.
