Hello guys, so I am about to throw in the towel trying to figure out these issues I have with my LX470:

Issue 1: P0110 Check engine light code wont go away(I replaced the MAF sensor and used the OBD2 code scanner and the Intake Air Temp is reading 55 degrees F. So I guess the MAF is working okay. So not sure what else to check)

Issue 2: Side mirrors dont adjust and seat memory does not work anymore (I replaced the window ECU and still didnt solve the issue) I had taken it to the Lexus dealership that I believe busted it in the first place but they wanted $130/hr to diagnose what they busted. sigh..

Sooo...
My question now is, for servicing my LX do you guys think a Toyota dealership will be capable of diagnosing my LX vs going to a Lexus dealer?

Thanks!

That P0110 is probably going to be a wiring or ECU issue which could run big $$ at a dealer but a good local mechanic might be able to fix a broken wire without replacing the entire harness, etc. Dealership might start throwing lots of expensive parts at it..

Are you sure you got a good re-set on the ECU after changing the MAF?

Things like seat memory are either live without or pay through the nose items.

If it was mine I would get the MAF taken care of one way or another and probably live with the rest or endeavor for a DIY fix, remember the age of the truck (easy to forget I know).

....on second thought your mirror/seat issue sounds like a connector somewhere could have been left loose or disconnected due to other service (Lexus broke it), like the swithes are not connected or something? Fuses all checked? sorry I'm not to familiar with the more refined features of the LX but it could be some things to look into.

Seat and mirror memories are stored in the ecu. I'd start by checking, as you wrote, for broken wires or loose connectors between the ecu and mirrors and seats. If neither mirror works, I'd check especially beween the ecu and mirror switches on the dash. Same with the seat switch on the driver's side door.
