My AC has been out for a year on my 2000 Landcruiser. The AC switch on the dashboard is a little touchy, but I can get the light to go green if I push it just right. The clutch on the AC compressor doesn’t respond when I push the dashboard button. The compressor turns normally by hand. The compressor clutch engages normally if I put juice directly to the clutch contact. The relay checks out. The low pressure sensor has connectivity per my multimeter. I have not checked low and high side pressures, but both valves emit refrigerant when depressed. I’m tempted to replace the dashboard switch, but if the light comes on it presumably is working. Thoughts? Thanks.
