September 2006 Meeting minutes
Dealership 7:30PM
Tech Days:
Tech day to be held on 9.16.06. the tech day will either be (1) body shop or (2) Front knuckles drum to disk rebuild and overhaul. Notice will go up on Mud and email list next week. The Body shop tech day would be held in Warenton, the knuckles tech day would be in Mclean, VA.
Trail rides:
Oct 13-15 Bay to Blue ridge Cruisers at Paragon. All levels.
Oct Date TBD Annual Falls Color Ride. Green trails and an overnight camping trip. (free)
TTORA and Appalachian LC rides dates to be determined.
Loaner tools:
John Smith announced that he had begun the purchase of SST (special service tools) for the club. So far, we purchased a Shift lever remover, Pilot bearing Puller, Steering Knuckle centering gauge (for disk), and we are on hold for a few other tools. $278 spent to date out of $500 budget. Rules for these loaner tools will be established, but should be available to all members in good standing.
