Sept Club beach party cook out is canceled (1 Viewer)

Updated , this event is canceled & will be rescheduled for another date. Additionally there's no scheduled club meeting for this month. Out club meeting location is unavailable this month .


9/8 @ 930-10 am , club beach party @ bolsa chica state beach

will need some volunteers to help with this event for side dishes . The club will provide burgers & dogs , soda & waters , along with buns , condiments ect ...

aprox meeting location guard tower #25 , to the north of the main entrance . Be advised of lines for entry & plan accordingly , arrive early if possible .

please rsvp only to this thread , and state either A. attending and B. you are providing a side dish (specific food item) . So as to not have too much of 1 item .

Hi Everyone,
I just picked up two loaner Skottles from Jerry so we will be ready to cook. I am happy to pick up the hotdogs, burgers and buns from Costco.

We will bring two easy ups and can bring coolers and ice for drinks.

Brownies will be our pot luck item...

At this point I only see six people responding that they are able to come to the beach gathering. Should we postpone until next month? Maybe skip the beach this year? Thoughts? Before I go and buy the BBQ stuff just to see if a reschedule might make sense...

Might be a good idea to try to postpone to another date, maybe next month unless more people decide to show up. Seems like most have other plans for this weekend

By my book it only takes 4 to have a party. If you counted 6, that’s 50% more than we need so we’re gonna have one heck of a party! Maybe we don’t need as much food. Besides, you have spent quite some time planning. Postponing just means more planning.
I'm fine either way but secretly hoping to just hang out and talk low gears, triple cases, axle swaps, and portal hubs!

Based on the small response, I would like to postpone the club beach event until omre members are able to join and enjoy. As such, I am not going to go to Costco today to buy supplies. I propose we look to schedule it for the October meeting which would be on Sunday the 6th.

I second Rich’s proposal to have a beach party on Oct 6.
