We are meeting at Pearson Toyota dealership Newport News at 6am September 14. Show up with breakfast in belly, gassed up and ready to go. Plan on departing no later than 6:30. We will get to union springs road around 11ish. No base camp! We will run the trail till around 5ish and we will stop for a lunch break. Pack up in the morning and do some more exploring. Planning departing around 1:30 to be home by 6. I'm supplying Saturday night street tacos. You will want to have your own breakfast, lunch and GMRS -or- FRS radio.

I would consider this trip pending there are no waves that weekend. I have off that time of year for hurricane surf.

We'd love to have you. But just a FYI. This is a very very very light green trail. Just trying to git the members out that are green behind the ears to build confidence with hopes of getting them out to the bigger events. None the less it is a great opportunity to get on the mountain with the cruiser family. @tromz is headed to Potts mountain with the star city crew and the bay to blue ridge crew around August 23. That is more of a challenging trail that we are used to. Check out the star city page if interested
