Got back about 1 AM, beat but worth it. Was the year of the FJC, you couldn't toss a dead hooker without hitting one. A cool one in the Toyota booth. It has an old school cloth sunroof.

On second thought that blonde standing next to the rod looks sweet!

A pick up bed version?? (fjcruiser) SUT? Sweet!

The V8 Taco is sweet, the FJ rod is sweet, the Stout is sweet, but i must say that the sweetest thing there would have to be the 2000....just a sweet car, i would love to get my hands on one:D

The 1st orange FJ, now that's the way Toyota shoulda done it!
No stupid blind spot. Now, lets cut off the rest of the roof.

The 2000 is an awesome looking vehicle. I remember the Datsun 1600's that looked like triumphs, and I thought it was an E-Type at first, right down to the hood vents, but I've never even seen that Toyota!

I had a neighbor in SD had 2 Stouts and they were just that...Stout.

Toyota has a fleet of those too, blonds, redheads, brunets,,,, The different part is that unlike the eye candy in most of the other booths, they know the product and act like they enjoy talking about it.

Thanks for the pix...I'll take the orange FJ with the busty blond...it'll only cost me half my income and half my assets...at least that is what my wife tells me.

Wonder if the Toyota waranty will cover that FJ with the lift. They wouldn't cover the one at the Southern Cruiser Crawl that broke a rear end and a tie rod.

Later,

Have no idea what Toyota will or will not cover, you would have to take that up with them?

You gotta love that package... brains, attitude, and great body lines! Where do I sign up for a test drive on one of those models, and do you know the base price?:grinpimp:

wish i'd known you were there...treeroot, cobberly and i were wandering around sema yesterday.

and toyota has no current plans to make the pickup, so everyone start your letter writing campaigns. there is an aftermarket softop version and the co.'s literature states that many toyota dealerships are approved to install the tops

You didn't have Alia in tow?:D I was there for a couple of meetings over at the AAPEX side, so didn't have much time for touring.

The story that I heard was no current plans, but the response has been overwhelmingly positive, so that may change? There are a couple of details to workout, like where to put a spare tire!:D

The soft top one that I saw looked like a$$!

tools-r-us... did you happen to take any more pics of the rat rod?

sorry for jumping into this thread

That was it, should have shot the sign, didn't catch what kind of motor is in it.
