I've got probably about 5lbs worth of copper wiring so far (and will likely end up with more by the time I'm done) from my shop rewiring project. There's a LOT of wiring I can't use, so I've stripped the insulation off and coiled it up just to get it out of the way. I had heard that some recyclers will only take a small amount at a time to deter tweakers (so much for selling my copper pots), which makes sense, but I'd still like to get at least a few bucks back in my pocket for all this extra copper I've got that I have no use for. You guys know of any local recyclers that'll pay at least a little bit for copper?

Maybe I could have some fun and get a crucible to melt it down into a small brick? :hhmm:

Pacific recycling. Under the bridge just south of freya and mission. I think I've told you to get steel there before.

Yeah they've hooked me up bigtime on steel there. I usually end up BSing with the old timer there who owns that Stingray and he cuts me a pretty good deal on what I'm picking up.

Reminds me, I've got to get me some 3/8" stock so I can make me some weld-on rear caliper brackets before winter hits.
