I can't get the image of Dino riding around with his head poking out of the roof of the Flintstone's mobile out of my head...

Good luck with it Rick- you got one hell of a deal. ;)

More than you can imagine Jamie. My son is going on 18 YO and I've forced him into wheeling as a way to connect with him. I'm pleased to say that it has been a fruitful en-devour with all the great people that we have come to know and the experiences we have shared.

Right now only the people reading this thread know that I've bought this truck. I'm pretty damn excited to bring it home for him and everyone to see.

It will likely be his some day to share with my grandchildren.

Well that certainly makes it all worth it. I'm glad for you- someday my little girl will have one too- gotta pay the daycare first though . enjoy it.

Well it's almost been a year and I'm going to be selling this truck.

I ended up picking up a 1980 and all the pieces to put that truck together and it is now up at Kinas. So this truck would be delegated to trail duty which means that I'd likely destroy it slowly with physical damage and aggressive modifications.

I think it would be a shame to do this and a better beater could be found for that purpose.

I haven't done much to the truck but have done some.

I fixed the no start problem as well as fixing a bad battery cable. It now starts reliably.

I've sourced the proper front seats as well as a set up jump seats. The jump seats have the support leg on them.

I can post pics up later if need be.

I'm looking for $5300.00

as a refresher

H41 tranny
factory power steering
disk front brakes with fj60 guts
full floater rear axle with rear e-brakes

the other details are in the first post.
