I’ve been searching and can’t find any centralized discussion about this so here goes. I understand you get what you pay for and the Rigids and Bajas of the world are sweet and all, but man are they pricey.

Is there any consensus on the best budget option? I’m looking for 3x3 to flush mount in my Dissent front bumper. Are there any that bridge the gap between the high end and the $20 Amazon specials?

Anyone happy with their purchase in the $50 range?

Much appreciated!

Also, related question: can y’all make suggestions on the light pattern ideal for that location?

I have a pair from harbor freight I have yet to try. From my informal analysis, they are surprisingly robust, not what you’d expect from Harbor Freight.

I was about to buy the HB ones when they came out, but ended buying the OPT7.
I read some reviews and they seem to be pretty good, especially for the price.

I put a set of those in the rear bumper of my last Ram 2500 plow truck and they worked great. Held up to multiple New England Winter's abuse with road salt, snow and ice and being backing into snow banks regularly while plowing. No issues ever, and added a substantial amount of light for their cost and size.

Great to hear man! I have seen a few folks with the OZ-USA lights and could not see why they are twice as much as the other Amazon options when they all look like differently branded lights from the same Chinese company. I went for the Nilights, I'll update everyone on how they look.
