Wife was going to a mutual college friend's lake house near the NC/SC border and came across a parking lot full of cruisers.

She went in and crashed Upstate's Annual meeting, how funny is that. She got a good welcome from what I understand...

Not 100% sure but it's close to Lake Kiawee (sp?). I didn't look at Upstate's thread for the details..

It's Lake Keowee, SC, nestled in the mountains not far from Table Rock Mountain and sits just downstream from Lake Jocassee (took the family there on a camping trip this summer). The lake is one of many constructed by Duke Power to generate hydroelectric power. The lake actually covers an old (and I do mean old as in pre-1500's) Cherokee Nation town. It is a beautiful part of the state and not a bad drive from Charlotte as it is just the other side of Greenville, SC.

It's a Meat & 3 type of place.

Al - you gotta be kidding me??
Meat & 3??

Basically a cafeteria - Piccadily is always good, round here seems to mainly be K&W.
The absolute best ever is Niki's West in Birmingham. It's totally in the hood, but man is it good!!

Had to look it up
Meat and three - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
My favorite part of that was ""Meat and three" is referred to by Southern Culture on the Skids in their song Banana Puddin'."

So basically Aunt Sues is a meat and three with a huge field to park cruisers in. Is that right?

It is no where near a K&W style it is more like saltworks in wilmington. pick a meat...pork, chicken, ribs etc and a few sides...okra, mashed potato, cobbler etc. and if you are lucky they will bring you biscuts or hushpuppies.
