I'd never give up my land cruiser

Even a typical sedan would cost over $80k in gas to get to 1M miles, so I'd rather pay the difference to drive something way cooler

Hmm.. I thought that generation Tundra only came with the 5.7 V8. Learned something new! Guess my GX470 w/ 146K is just getting broken in.

Yes get used to it, they are kind of the motor of doom. I actually prefer I6 engines though.
