Second gen. 4 Runner 1991 - SOLD
1991 4 Runner, 216,000 miles, 3.0 V6, p/s, p/b, a/c, 5 sp. Short block replaced by Toyota at 181,354 miles, all coolant hoses, timing belt, waterpump, fan belts, idler pulley, thermostat, a/c converted to 134, clutch kit, shifter bushings, plugs, cap, wires, rotor, fuel filter, and knock sensor replaced at this time. I have also replaced the half shafts, both the starter and alternator brushes, brake pads, front wheel bearings, ball joints, tie rod ends and idler arm. (I have all receipts totaling $3461- not including the cost of the short block!)
This truck has a 3"-4" lift with Land Cruiser rear springs in the rear and ball joint spacers in the front, ARB front bumper with winch (NOT the Warn Winch in the pictures) and 5 33x12.5x15 tires on steel wheels.
This has been my daughter’s daily driver for the past several years and has never left her stranded, she has bought a 2000 5sp. 4 runner so this one has to go.
This truck has been used and has a couple of issues. the steering box leaks at the seal, I have a good steering box that I will include in the sale. The transfer case has a slow leak at the rear output seal, I never fixed it because it wasn't that big of a deal. The sunroof doesn't work and the glass is cracked, but it doesn't leak, and it has some rust. The engine has recently developed a miss that I haven't found, it still runs well on the interstate and in town.
