I bought this truck ~9 months ago from a friend. It needed a birfield rebuild, he bought the parts and I did the work. Been daily driving it since then, and used it to move my family from Texas to Washington. Have also used it as a weekend wheeler. My friend has just put tags on it, and they are still good for a while. Title is a clean Louisiana title open for signature.
Goods:
Cloth seats in great shape
SUPER drive anywhere reliable.
SUPER capable offroad.
Drivetrain very solid.
Cold A/C, hot heat.
All windows / lights / sunroof work.
Not a rust bucket.
Tires are ~60%, also have a set of 35x12.50-17 Goodyear MTR's with wheels that I will include if I'm happy with your offer.
Same story with the CB / antenna setup. Tuned and everything, will include with a good offer.
Not so goods:
Paint sucks.
Driver floorpan had an isolated spot of rust that was pretty bad. Cut it out, welded in new sheetmetal, used one layer of fiberglass to make sure it was sealed. Rustoleumed top and bottom, then undercoated. Will last the life of the vehicle.
Small amount of surface rust above windshield, small amount on back hatch underneath a bad paint match.
Someone did a bad custom exhaust on this thing, and it'll rattle against a hanger occasionally. Mostly when cold and going in reverse. Slightly annoying, nothing more.
O2 Sensor needs to be replaced. I have the replacement, only issue the old one is stuck in there. >.< Haven't tried very hard to get it taken care of.
