Hello everyone. My seats and carpet have seen better days. With whatever the previous owner did and my three kids, the carpet and seats are pretty much done. Thanks to everyone here, I did my due diligence and tried a few things. I tried the proper cleaning and re-cleaning of the seats. I pulled the carpet and pressure washed it. And while there was improvement, they are still pretty bad. It is a shame because the LC itself has been great and I wish the inside looked as nice as it feels driving it. That being said, I did some research I figured I would share with others who are interested.

Carpets.
Local auto upholstery shops quoted me from $600 to $1200 including installation for the entire truck including tailgate cover. Toyota's price, when I checked a while ago was around $500 for just the cargo area carpet and I can assume that it will be similar for the rest of the sections, so about $1500 total. You can get a set of molded carpet from a company in Australia that regularly has it listed on Ebay for about $300 shipped. When I contacted them, they were willing to make sure that it was for a left-hand drive car, but I would have to let them know at checkout. Not sure if they will still do this though. I am choosing to go with the middle of the road local auto shop (Raul's Auto Trim in Ontario for $850) because I don't have the time to go through the labor again, and they are willing to run some electrical cables for me. They have worked on LCs before, they were very professional and accommodating with all of my questions, and the turn around time is only a couple of days. I will let you all know how it turns out when it is done.

Seats.
There are so many options from completely custom to completely generic (the ones that look like a bed sheet). Lseat.com is one option that has many good reviews on ih8mud. For all three rows with perforated front seats it is $937, but you have to put them on yourself. The upholstery shop I spoke with said they will install for $900 for all three rows and add padding where needed. Landcrusierheaven is another option with good reviews on ih8mud, but less people have gone with them that I can tell, but those who have say it is great. Similar to Lseat, but for $1,500 for all three rows plus the $900 for my auto upholstery shop to install. The third option is Wet Okole for $906. Many people like these on ih8mud, but some have complained of swamp butt in warm climates. Plus is that they are really designed to install yourself. Finally, there is iggee.com, which offers a product that is synthetic leather, and is designed to be self-installed for $563 for all three rows. The difference between the ones that need installation by someone else versus the ones that are self-install is simply a matter of time for me. I don't have the time any longer to spend on the LC as I would like. Lseat and LandCruiserheaven apart to take a few hours per seat to install, where as the Wet Okoles take about two hours for all of them. I am leaning towards the Lseat covers and just having the upholstery shop install them. The completely custom was very much out of my budget.

So that is what I have to offer if someone is looking for a one stop interior upholstery info shop. I will update once the work is complete with pics.

RockAuto has carpet options for $221 to 425, from ACC. I've bought flooring through them before and it's decent quality.

Ok, try that again. I installed Wet Okole's in a '95 4runner. Loved them. Depending on what is wrong with the carpet, spray stains with electric contact cleaner and quickly scrub with a rag and all of my carpet stains came right up. My stains looked to be from coffee and what ever kids would spill. Red Koolaid, coke etc.

I just had carpet installed in my LX that I got from @dnp right here on mud. I believe I paid under $400 shipped for his premium version. It is really nice, I like it a lot. I had my front seats reupholstered with genuine leather and the foam needed to be rebuilt due to previous owner neglect. I paid $240 per seat for that. The second to row I had done in perfectly matching vinyl for $350 all in. I haven’t done the third row yet, but imagine it would be similar in price to the second row. I had the center console top replace with genuine leather for $75 while it was there. They charged me $150 to install the carpet that I provided and they provided really nice, thick padding and that was worth every penny. Cash deal so no tax put me out the door done deal right around $1k for a completely new interior. Excellent work at an incredible price. I was able to find a hole in the wall in the hood of Houston and that place was a diamond in the rough, I’ve sent multiple people to his shop since I got my work done.

Correction, it was right around $1k to the upholstery shop plus the $400 for the carpet makes it ballpark $1500 total. Also, he could have color matched the oem leather but I specifically wanted a darker interior. Dark brown leather seats and the darkest brown carpet @dnp had is what I chose to go with.

REALLY cool! Can you take a photo of two on how the dark carpet looks in the tan interior? I really like the dark carpet contrast look on a lighter interior................

I second the recommendation for the @dnp carpet solution. Very popular with the 60 series owners and great quality product from a mud member working hard to increase our options

This^^^ Anxious to see how the dark brown carpet looks in the 100.

If I could find that around here I would be all over it, that's a heck of a deal

Here’s a few pics. I have not yet put all the trim pieces back into place, but you get the idea. The sun is starting to set, but if you want any certain angles or anything more, let me know and I’m happy to post. Side note, I will be getting the steering wheel wrapped in new leather ($120) and the door pulls redone in matching vinyl ($40 each) sometime soon by the same guy.

I have a friend who grew up in the aforementioned hood and has a guy for everything. He has “fell of the back of the truck” specials and if you need anything and I mean anything done, he already knows who to send you to. It’s pretty nice having that kind of connection. Try searching through the less reputable parts of town and check the quality of workmanship and you may be surprised what is right under your nose.

I didn't even know about the carpet from @dnp . I am going to look into that option. It is similar in price to the version off Ebay from Australia, but I would much rather support an ih8mud vendor. I am really liking that brown leather color. I think I might have to go down that road. I only wish that I was close to your neck of the woods at the price you paid.

I actually pulled the old carpet out and cleaned it. It helped some, but not much. The carpet was just in really bad shape.
