Do these switches have bulbs that light up when the dash lights are on or do they only light up when the switches are turned on?
Currently mine do not light up unless they are turned on. Tough to find in the dark with gloves on.....
Thanks,
cp

They have both illumination when the lights are on, and lights that indicate when power is applied to the seat heater elements.

Post up if you find the bulbs for the switches. My moms 100 has a lot of lights out on the shifter console and center dash. Curious how many can actually be replaced.

That answers that question then. Must be 3 bulbs in each switch, then? One for illumination and one for each position, Lo and High?

That's correct. Local Lexus dealer found the correct bulbs but it took some lookin'.

The part number for the factory replacement illumination bulb is 84999-10310. I just bought 2 at Camelback Toyota and they were $2.94 each. Very easy to replace as well. Simply pry the switch up, out of the center console, you will see a little white crossed hatched circle on one side. Get a smallish screwdriver, turn the bulb counterclockwise, put the new bulb in, and pop the switch back in place. I do not have any photos, but it is very easy.

I have a 2003 LC.

Hey brices123,
Thank you for the part numbers. I searched in toyomotorparts.com parts database where I usually get my parts and could not find anything except the switches themselves. They use the basically the same illustrations shown in the factory service manual but I couldn't find just the bulb - Nada. I'll try entering that part number in there and see what happens....
$2.94 Sounds like a very reasonable price, by the way!

Got it! That part number worked. But they want a whopping $2.99 for them!

I'll put 2 of them in the shopping cart with my next order at toyomotorparts.

Price gouging!
