I have gone through the previous posts about retrofitting seat heaters.

However I still need some clarification.

I have already purchased new leather, foam, OEM JDM heater switches. How I need help with the heater element.

My understanding is that after you install the bottom and back seat pads, they connect to a one wire harness that you attached male ends on and plug into the factory seat plug openings.

From there you have to tap into a ground wire.... How and where is this done?

Does either one of these look like a good kit to buy? Is there a specific pad size?

Assuming yours is a '96 with the wiring already in place, search for @CycloSteve build thread wear he retrofits seat heaters for some tips. There's also a wiring diagram in the FSM showing the OEM switch wiring layout which you will be using with the aftermarket solenoids. For width, just measure your seat in between bolsters.

Edit: there's a ground center of shifter console. But I ran a dedicated ground off a new fuse box that has a (-) buss.

Yes it’s a 1996.
I believe I did review his thread. Just wanted some better pictures/clarification.

There's a few variables: type of switch (dash or in the console), wiring present (early models have none) and type of heater element (wiring). Luckily you have all the wiring in place. Mine did not, so I had to run a dedicated feed off the aux battery to a Blue Sea fuse box to power the elements' solenoid. Then wire the switches. I can only point you to the EWD where you can cross reference the heater element wiring. For me, it looked like this:
FUNCTION:ELEMENT:OEM SWITCH:
HIGH (+)12VRED-YELLOWBLUE-ORANGE
IGN POWER (+)12VREDBLUE-WHITE
LOW (+)12VRED-BLUEBLUE-BLACK
GROUND (-)BLACKWHITE-BLACK
ILLUMINATION (-)N/ABLACK-WHITE

Hopefully someone else will be of more help, but read the EWD for your model and switch type. Good luck
