Covered area I know - I have read about the usual suspects, Duck and Escape, but has anybody come up with any other good seat cover options lately? Hopefully a little more economical?

Seriously? I have actually thought of doing that, but figured that there was no way it could be that easy!
I really just want something to get by for a while before I spring for the really good stuff.
$20.00 per pair? - sold!!
Thanks for the heads up - I’ll give them a shot
If you’re willing to spend 100-200, you can get model specific seat covers in a canvas from Universal Seat covers out of Miami. I’ve used them for all of my cars and trucks for years. They are not cheap but they’re not top of the line prices either. They’re also not super tight form fitting, but that goes with the material. They have the 100 series pattern and will make them in almost any color. They’ll even stitch something for you.

Check out these https://www.costco.com/Wetsuit-Seat...r-Repellent-Technology.product.100474488.html seat covers from Costco. They're 20 bucks.....a pair. I have Scheel seats in my Troopy and they fit reasonably well. I've had them on the seats for about 7-8 months and the drivers side is separating where I slide in and out. It can probably be sewn.....but the last time I was at Costco I bought another pair. I have dogs and these seat covers will do well enough for now. 20 bucks....a pair......
Just got to Wal Mart and get generic seat covers for any Toyota. Should fit reasonably close.
Point taken on holding in moisture. I live in Oregon and well, there's a lot of "moisture." Haven't noticed it but I also haven't taken the seat covers off. Thanks for the heads up.....I caution the use of neoprene “wet suit material” for seat covers. It’s really good at keeping moisture in. I would be prepared to fight mold/mildew in humid/damp environments.
I used a neoprene “towel cover” on my seats and in the back when I was diving every weekend. They were really effective, but I would only put them in when I would go out to get wet. Removed them for day-to-day use so what little moisture did get past them could evaporate.Point taken on holding in moisture. I live in Oregon and well, there's a lot of "moisture."
