I will have to look for my receipt, to see which one I put in the 80 (actually two of them)but I am pretty sure I got the big one for the starting position and the smaller one for the aux position.

The biggest challenge with a toyota is the reversed polarity, so you have to extend the cables for them to reach the posts. I had to extend all of the cabling going to the battery so that I could hook them up. So yeah, get the biggest one you can fit in the tray and be prepared to extend the wires/cables.

Also the better part of the bigger one is the bigger reserve capacity, that will allow you to run your refrigerator all night and still start the truck in the morning, think of it as a bigger gas tank.

Great batteries.

Shoot, didn't know about the post being switched. Is it hard lengthening the cables? I haven't really looked at them... I was thinking of making a new box, but doubt that will move the battery enough to keep me from making new cables.

Is the sale all day tomorrow? Where did you see the sale ad? Thanks

It will take you a couple of hours or so to do them right, but no it's not difficult, just time consuming. Also, it allows you to put some super cool blinging terminals on that make it so much easier to wire up accessories, like your aux fuse block, winch, dual battery cables, 2m radio...:flipoff2:

Why are you thinking about making another battery box? Is something wrong with the factory one?

When I bought mine, the guy at the local sears said he couldn't sell them for as cheap as I got it for online. Find an online coupon, order it online and pick it up from the local store. Takes about 30 mins or so for the online portion to notify the local store of your order and your set.

Ill have to look at it tonight when I get home. Hopefully I can swap out batteries this week when I'm off. I was going to make a new one (I have tons of sheet metal sitting in the garage) just in case the larger battery didn't quite fit.
