HI

I've been trying a couple of searches that I know should work using both the search dialog box at the top of the 80 series forum and using the advanced search and it keeps returning no results.

searches were

ARB recovery
ARB shackle
ARB modified
ARB reinforced

Tried them several times and made sure spelling was correct, still no results returned.

Using Firefox for my browser

Lied....ARB is a valid search term....

the search I did SECONDS ago for 'arb recovery' turned up this thread....works just fine :)

Woody,

The search "ARB recovery" run from the header on the forums page, searching the whole site, returns two results for me.

If I run it from the 80 series header it comes up with nothing. I know there are quite a few threads discussing whether or not the recovery/jack points on the arb front bumper are suitable for recovery and I have used this search before and it returned quite a few threads. For instance this thread has the terms "ARB" and "recovery" in it several times however the search doesn't find it.

I was trying to find an old thread were someone had placed reinforced anchors for recovery on an ARB with a backing plate and was looking for pics.

It seemed weird to me but maybe it's something I'm doing

just searched 'reinforce ARB' and returned 20 results....

<--confused....

Ross, can you perform a search for "ARB recovery" from the root forum's header search and then post up the link to the search results promptly?

There may be some clues hidden in there.

just searched 'recovery arb' from the menubar, and returned the max 250 results

'arb recovery' returned the same 250 results

Ok... go here:
IH8MUD Forums - Search Forums

And at the bottom click "Clear Search Preferences" and then hit Go...

I'm betting that fixes it.
