Typically if my Cruiser or Runner runs a little rough I can put a can of Seafoam in them (Gas tank), and everything is good again.:)

Have any of you Chemist done an analysis on Seafoam to see exactly what is in there?

SS

PM if you want to also.

SeaFoam is mostly Pale Oil, Naphtha and IPA according to the MSDS.

and emits fumes to make the driver thinks the engine runs smoother... :D

*gasp* You mean running a liquid to move carbon from my intake onto my cylinders is a bad idea? :flipoff2:

I am a Seafoamaholic.
I suck it right through the PCV.
It beats "Coke in the Carb"

Seafoam the PCV
BG44k the gas.
Toyota EFI the gas but don't let it sit too long.

AutoRx in the crankcase?

AutoRx in the crankcase?

I think AutoRx is for a motor that used Penspoil like the 88 62 I had.
There was a 1/4" buildup of oil crud on everything under the valve cover.

Don't know what it would do for a well maintained motor???

Must be some kind of fumes. It had all of you high. There is no magic in auto chemistry, except for the magical way that some can sell stuff to you.
I have been in this biz too long....

Try Seafoaming a old chevy 350, 87 fj60, 94 fzj80 and a 96 Camry.
You will see diff results.
When I did the chevy 350, I thought the fire dep was going to show up.
Not as much with the fj60 and only mild blue smoke from the 80 and Camry.

The Camry v6 is the easiest to tell when it need to be cleaned, it looses it pep.

So you use the Seafoam in the PVC value? Not in the gas?
