screeching noise

[ISOLATR]

Pretty sure I have isolated the noise to the speedometer. Once I reach 65 mph it starts screeching and it's annoyingly LOUD! At first I thought it was the tranny. GAWD NO!

Not sure what I need to do. Grease the cable? I know I did that to my VW back in the day. New cable? Anyone have this problem with their Toy?

Try graphite lube.

New cable is relatively cheap
