Aaaaaaww. Sniff sniff. I miss the blotch rig right now.
She went to a good home though.
Not much had changed with it. Only real difference is he added ARBs and maybe 37's.

Although. Looks like 35's. But I know the ARBs went in.

Keith, I believe his name is Kevin thought you might show up in the Taco.

Yeup!
Kevin is his name. Cool guy too.
Wish I could have made it. Not sure if the taco would make it in without damage and didnt really wanna risk it. This was the 2nd year I missed!:bang::mad::crybaby:

There was an older couple in the camp on Friday that drove in in a stock chevy Tahoe...unreal.

I'd probably be okay, but... Just don't wanna find out the hard way in my DD. Was it a good turn out??

Real good turnout, but I had to leave Saturday as more were coming down the trail.

It's a great run and great people. I'm sorry I missed it. Too bad you couldn't stay.

I cruised in Sunday afternoon. Can't miss the raffle:) Managed to scrape up both driveshafts but no real damage. I tested out the trailer setup and got bitched at for parking the trailer overnight in the boat ramp parking lot, but no tickets. They have a sign saying not to park, but no indication on where you can park so I parked anyway. And was in the way for the 6am garbage collection on Labor Day!

On the great side, I won a $300 MAF 4+ gift cert. and a remote control fart machine (Thanks George!).

This isn't a sanctioned TLCA event, I don't know of any website for it. George from Valley Hybrids in Stockton organizes it every year. But there is more banter about it in the 45 specific section of MUD.

There a link to this event? Never heard of it...

There's usually a thread about it in the trails and events section. Its every labor day weekend at the first water crossing from the blue lakes side on Deer Valley. Its a FUN, CHILL event. Lots of cool cruisers of ALL TYPES. I have met some great people out there. Fishing the lil river is a BLAST TOO in your down time. Hoppers and tarantula patterns KILL IT! I caught and released SOOOOO many fish. The widest section near the camp is maybe 12 ft wide.
Ya just kinda show up and hang out. If you wanna go wheel the trail, there's always groups going and you can jump in, or you can just hang out and BS, kick tires, what ever. You bring a raffle gift and youre entered in the raffle. There's always some cool stuff. At night, there are NUMEROUS camp fires...just tote your favorite beverage and wander around to them and socialize. Mark from Marks Off Road is always at the main camp fire taking requests on his guitar. Dude can play!!!

SOOOOO bummed I missed it AGAIN!

It pretty much is as Keith had it with a couple of minor exceptions:
- 4.88s and lockers replaced by 5.29s and ARBs
- Keith ran KMs, these are KM2s, but otherwise same backspacing and same size tire (35x12.5)
- most of the onboard air setup complete, still need to finish the york bracket
- poly rear axles

BTW, Keith, I was going to tell you - when I had it at Rubithon people were looking for you. The license plate had them confused

And I still think you're crazy about how slow it was, it passed a couple cars on 88 on the way to the 45 run. I have witnesses :steer:

Lol... Looking for me?!?! None of them had shot guns, hangin ropes or were holding small children that resembled me, I hope!!! :)
Passed a couple of vehicles???? A vespa Or a cyclist perhaps? Lol.
Glad blotch rig went to someone who appreciates it. I just could not go through with parting that rig out. It didn't deserve that fate.
