I was walking thru the parking lot at work here in Clear Lake and saw a yellow FJ Cruiser. It looks pretty sharp, but just lacks that "mean" factor. Nice soccer mom vehicle IMHO. The tires are so close to the fender wells that there is no way it has articulation worth squat. Inside, it looked pretty plain, too.

Your so wrong about the articulation. I took my FJ out on the Trail yesterday went everywhere the lifted Jeeps went, over boulders strewn trails that beat up their u-bolts and climbed some major sand dunes that both of the Jeeps had to get a run at. Have some pic that I'll download tomorrow that show the FJ flexing incrediabily well. Soccer moms would not have even tempted the trails we were on. Had it in the river with the water level at the headlights no problem.
It will be getting a lift and some 33's as the skid plates got a major workout. This rig was meent for the hills.

Good to hear. I was judging on looks alone. Glad to hear that Toyota kept the "wheelers" in mind when they designed this thing.
